  • Announcement 1/23/25

    Dear Parents:

We have been monitoring the Sepulveda Fire East of the Getty Center in the Sepulveda Basin. There are no evacuation orders for this fire incident, and all forward progress has stopped.

Utilizing the metrics of our adopted fire safety protocols, which include distance to campus, percentage of containment, projected wind speeds, and current red flag warnings, we are confident that the Marymount campus will remain safe and that we can conduct classes and activities as usual.

We will continue to monitor the situation throughout the day. Out of an abundance of caution, we will hold the busses on campus if there is a need to evacuate before the fire is fully contained.

We will communicate with you as we receive more information.
