The Marymount Swim Team has already made a splash this season. With a large turnout for tryouts and a win vs. Archer under their belts, the Sailors are prepared for a tough Sunshine League competition.
With new coaches Kylie Helms and Monica Dornick on board this season the highly skilled team has been able to provide new skills, strong conditioning and an enthusiasm that will help the team approach every event with ambition for victory.
Some key returns for the Sailors include: Maire Burschinger a three-time CIF Prelim qualifier, Allison Harrigan, and Josephine Rielly. Newcomers that are looking to make an immediate impact are Sophomore Cameron Kahn, Freshmen Claire DuPont and Emma Sainsbury-Carter.
In the weeks to come, the Sailors will face challenging meets against non-league opponent Flintridge Scared Heart and league opponents Immaculate Heart and Marlborough.
