JV Basketball Maintains Play Over Winter Break

The JV Basketball Team competed in the Palisades Tournament over winter break, which allowed the team to apply what they're learning in practice.

The Palisades Tournament turned out to be a great challenge for the team. The Lady Sailors faced some fierce competition and played as well as they could. Each team they faced played a different style of basketball, which required the players to make necessary adjustments. JV Basketball is a very young team learning to play the game of basketball. Individual players have had ample opportunities to showcase their skills and step up as leaders. Ruby Schiff '19, Blaine Policella '17, Megan Dunne '17, and Anna Morello '18 played an awesome tournament and set the precedent for the hard work, determination and level of energy needed to move forward.
