Sailors Showed Good Energy vs FSH

This surge generated a break and earned Marymount a penalty kick.  Unfortunately the Sailors were not able to score, the ball hit the post and the rebound was fluffed.  Following that missed opportunity, Flintridge Sacred Heart scored about one minute later.  The Sailors battled back to pull the score to 1-1 just before half-time but FSH was able to create another opportunity and squeaked in another goal closing out the first half 2-1.  The never-give-up attitude of the Sailors prevailed and they brought the score to even ground again at 2-2 with 15 minutes left, but Flintridge wouldn't give in and scored, winning the game 4-2.

Coach Green saw a lot of gumption and heart in his team and knows they will grow from this experience.  The Sailors worked very hard and made progress as a team.  Varsity Soccer has definitely created some momentum going forward.
