Well Executed Game for Varsity Soccer

The Sailors displayed a tremendous effort on the field last Friday against Notre Dame Sherman Oaks. The teams were evenly matched, which elevated the level of play for the Sailors to the highest level seen this season.

Marymount played exceptionally well, especially with ball passing and movement around the field. NDSO scored in the first half with a far out kick, but the Sailors came roaring back with a goal from defender Jourdan Emerson '17 to even the score 1-1 at the half. With five minutes to go, the Sailors lost a bit of concentration and NDSO was able to score again winning the game 2-1. Although the Sailors did not pull off the win, the score in no way reflects the effort and level of play demonstrated by the team. Go Sailors!
