Full Sweep for Sailor Volleyball vs FSHA

All Sailor teams brought home the "W" last night against Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy!

The Daily News reported on the game!

VARSITY VOLLEYBALL:
25-20, 25-16, 25-15
The Marymount Team was very slow to start the match, letting freeballs drop, over passes drop and missing serves.  Midway through the first game the Sailors got things going with Devon leading the game offensively with 13 kills and defensively with 11 digs and 4 blocks.  The real turning point was during game 2 when Sarah came in with 6 strong serves in a row, a record for her this year plus great defense with 8 impressive digs.  Sarah also reported the highest passing stat of any player this season passing a 2.6!   Grace had 10 kills and hit over 400.  Haley fired the team up with great defense and 8 really great digs.   The blocking of Jennie and Emma really kept FSHA on their heals and Taylor finished off the match with 4 in a row!

JV VOLLEYBALL:
25-19, 25-16
The JV team came out a bit slow but at 18-18 things started clicking and they turned up the heat! From that point forward, the Sailors held on to the momentum to turn out the victory!

FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL:
The Freshmen team split to play two matches against FSHA this past Thursday.  Marymount convincingly won both matches in two sets a piece, with scores of 25-13, 25-11 and 25-12, 25-14.  Marymount jumped out to early leads in all four sets and continued that pressure throughout the afternoon.  Standout performances from Kiki Schumacher, Ali Mora, and Kendall Fisher.
