The Sailors had a challenge in their opponent, Culver City HS.

Sailors Basketball Wednesday Game:
The varsity team lost to Culver City 52-37.

With the Sailors getting in early foul trouble, they trailed at half time 25-15. The Sailors started the 2nd half trapping full court, out-scoring Culver City 15-10 in the 3rd quarter, and pulling within 1 point in the 4th quarter (35-36), but could not keep up the intensity and was out scored 16-2 to end the game.
